The new mobile phone is all ready to go. The design team powers up the prototype, and -- nothing happens. Smarter designers would have turned to TestQuest earlier in the project schedule. The company based in the suburbs of the Twin Cities provides software and services for testing new code that is meant to run wireless devices, enterprise computers, digital entertainment, and other complex electronics. Customers include Becton Dickinson Microbiology Systems, Novellus Systems, and Sun Microsystems. TestQuest was founded in 1983 as a technical consulting firm for medical-device manufacturers.
