Reliant Technologies knows there's nothing "fine" about fine lines. The medical device firm designs, develops, and markets non-surgical therapies to treat various skin conditions, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, pigmentation, sun damage, and uneven tones and textures. It offers two Fraxel-branded laser systems: the Fraxel re:store system and the Fraxel re:fine system, both of which treat mild skin conditions. The company has plans to launch a third product, the Fraxel re:pair system, to treat more severe skin conditions. Reliant agreed to be acquired by Thermage in 2008.
