Good communication with managers, the kids are the best part of the job
Cons
Owner doesn't seem to care about retaining qualified BHPs, pay is very low (regardless of experience), company seems clique-ish, and parents can be (as is often the case) demanding, unreasonable, or difficult.
program managers are great and super helpful. the experience is good to have in the real world if you want to work with kids with special needs. the kids are the best part of the job, seeing them grow and succeed is amazing.
Cons
the owner of the company isn't great to work for; he can be very unprofessional and rude at times, and does not want to give raises. sometimes the families are difficult to work with, but the program managers are usually helpful when it comes to that.
