Pros

This is a well run financial planning firm with a clear client journey and many opportunities to interface with clients.

Cons

As with many financial planning firms, there is a lack of cultural competency although the firm owner does make efforts. The firm direction feels like it is constantly changing, which can be hard to keep up with.

Pros

BPFP is a fee-only fiduciary financial planning firm focusing on young professionals. The company and owners does everything possible to put clients first. For a small company especially, it's very well organized and process-driven, but also constantly improving and growing quickly. The owner places an emphasis on providing a path into an otherwise difficult field to get into through the resident program and internships. The workforce is distributed and almost entirely remote. Great team and receptive leadership.

Cons

The workforce is distributed and almost entirely remote. Salaries are very competitive for small and mid-market geographical areas, but some might find them on the lower end for HCOL areas. Not a place to advance a sales career as there are no commissions - only solid financial advice.
