Pros

Centerbase has so many aspects that contribute to the pros of being an employee here. The most important to speak on are benefits, flexibility, personal and professional development, skill utilization, recognition, and award programs. Benefits: The comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, Flex PTO, 401K matching, life insurance, short & long-term disability, Equity Appreciation Program, Parental Leave, and more, demonstrates the Centerbase's commitment to employee well-being, various needs, and priorities. Flexibility: The hybrid schedule offered by Centerbase provides a balance between work and personal life, allowing the flexibility to manage our time effectively. It fosters a positive work environment, contributing to a healthier work-life balance and increased job satisfaction from many employees. Personal Growth & Professional Development: Over the two years I've been with Centerbase, I've experienced significant personal growth. The company's culture and opportunities for learning have also played a crucial role in my professional development. The supportive environment I get from my direct report, Amanda Mabrey, VP of People, empowers me to take on new challenges, furthering my skills and expanding my capabilities. The emphasis on professional development at Centerbase is evident through initiatives and programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge. Some of these include leadership and mentoring programs. Centerbase is committed to individual skill development and nurturing future leaders within the organization. This investment in leadership potential creates a pipeline of talent that can drive the company forward. Centerbase also provides classes on skills and responsibilities, reflecting a proactive approach to skill-building. Tailoring learning paths to meet the evolving needs of employees ensures that we stay ahead in our roles and remain equipped to handle emerging challenges in the industry. Skill Utilization: Amanda Mabrey's commitment to assembling departments with the proper skill set demonstrates a keen understanding of the company's strategic goals. This alignment ensures that every team member contributes individually to the organization's objectives. Recognition, Awards, & Communication: Centerbase acknowledges and rewards employees for their work and achievements. In the past year, Centerbase invested in Motivosity, a platform to assist with appreciation, shout-outs, highlights, anniversaries, birthdays, individualized 1:1's with managers, quarterly coaching sessions, priorities, and so much more! My favorite is the quarterly awards program, which has contributed to boosting morale and job satisfaction (my favorite tool)! I could go on and on.
