      Pros

      When I first arrived at Data Evolution I was a bit shocked about how much management and leadership cared about their techs. I came from a very number driven IT organization and this was an incredible change of pace. Since working here I firmly believe that this is how all employees should be treated: with respect and dignity. The benefits are great and management is willing to work with you if any family or personal issues arise.

      Cons

      The company is still fairly small and lacks some basic procedures and onboarding processes, but management is working to close this gap. The remote support team is a little underwhelming and could use some more training, and staffing.

      Pros

      - If you prove your worth, you can cross into different departments that are better suited for you - They were pretty accommodating during the pandemic for remote work and keeping employees safe - Bonuses were solid - They will pay for certs you pass - There is always work to be found so it is hard to be bored if you enjoy the job - Very Vet friendly - Management has improved over the years to get better support for engineers - Great set of coworkers who know their stuff if you can get their time - Onsite team was a great team to socialize with - Non-covid times they had great family events to try to show employee appreciation

      Cons

      - If you don't enjoy the work, the work will seem overwhelming - There is pay cap but lower in some departments as with any job but you can work towards moving up in the company - Depending on your department, there can be little to no time for training for certs. They have gotten better over the years. - Depending on your client, the client can be very demanding of your time outside of the scheduled times - On-Call can be demanding but they have split it so it is no longer one person on call and they have a support system built in
