      Don't trust that manager in Dophen

      Pros

      You got to be in charge in a small project.

      Cons

      Its just more than terrible the experience I had over there. Only one or two people work more than 6 months. The leader there basically only wanted to take advantages of his employees as much as possible. You will not learn anything in science from this company ( actually its just a lab size ). They dump organic solvent directly to sewage system ( things like this happened a lot ). One of my previous coworker even lost her baby when she worked there. Its a very cheap company from China.

      Pros

      Good platform and product ideas, good mid-level management, lunch provided. Clean workspace with room to expand, good location.

      Cons

      Little funding, very limited resources, unrealistic timeline expectations from CEO and investors, need better oversight on research methods, and need to offer additional training and certifications for employees. High employee turnover.

      Amazing benefits, a small team of brilliant people, management encourages growth and promotes from within. There is a lot of freedom given to innovate without limitations from management.

      Cons

      It's a start-up so everyone wears many hats. Still this is a good learning opportunity.
