Pros
I worked at eclipse for just under a decade.
Had an amazing life experience and met some great people along the way, many of which are now life long friends.
I will cherish my time there as you get to work with a lot of smart and passionate people.
As with life there is always that one guy who is a tool but generally speaking was a pleasure to work with most people there.
I would of expected better after working there for so long but was only able to send a censored goodbye email along with hearing nothing from my manager or even the boss, which was quite pathetic and disheartening but also not surprising coming from a manager who made up stuff in a previous review, while trying to hide it. When confronted digged a whole so big was perfect to kick myself in.
A lot of management make themselves look good and are quite good gatekeepers of displaying their image.
The boss might be strict but he definitely has a great work ethic and tries very hard, sometimes too hard on himself, which he unknowingly displays in the office but nonetheless respect greatly.
Cons
Not much flexibility.
Lack of leadership.
Gatekeeper management.
