Pros
For teens or young adults, this is a really solid job to introduce you to working part-time. You'll likely make lots of friends, considering there's tons of staff and most (if not all) are in high school or early college. Not an overly difficult job, and management will try to make things fun (holiday parties, getting to jump for free, family/friend discounts, all that jazz). Working as a party host was even better -- slightly more stressful, but a much more rewarding job, both personally and financially (tips).
Cons
Management absolutely played favorites, which means that you need to be careful about getting on their "bad side." The majority of management was wonderful, and my experience was definitely positive in terms of interacting with them, but I know others who had very different experiences. The work environment can be very loud and chaotic at times, and drama between staff is common. Most shifts will require you to be standing for 8+ hours, with only a 30-minute break in the middle, so prepare for your feet to be sore. Finally, if you're looking for a job that pays well, either become a party host or find somewhere else to work. The working environment is fun, and some of the benefits are really nice, but if you're prioritizing money, being a cashier or court monitor is not your best bet.
