FMS allows you to be on the ground floor with burgeoning franchise systems and develop a lot of experience in just about every field imaginable. The company has a tremendously supportive culture and is run by a very active owner who is extremely hard working.
Cons
As with any consulting job, client flow has it ups and downs so you can go from chasing down clients to being up to your neck with deadlines for people wanting to start selling. Clients can sometimes be unreasonable, non-responsive, disorganized but it's all part of helping them get their house in order to effectively franchise their system. As an operations consultant you get to see the true inner workings of small mom-and-pops to exponentially growing concepts with heavily experienced executive teams.
