Pros
While most companies preach incredible diversity and make outlandish claims about their amazing employee-first culture , none I've worked for (until now) have ever delivered on those promises. NPT is the first to actually walk their talk. They have a diverse office and active employee engagement that fosters a truly rewarding environment. Employees resoundingly feel as though they get as much out of their jobs as they do putting in to them. There mission is entirely about philanthropy and that is carried through as the core of how they approach treating/managing/engaging with their employees. -The executive team is approachable and responsive to feedback. -Great medical/dental/vison/401k benefits and low cost to employees. -Competitive compensation. -Many unforeseen perks such as regular staff snacks/treats and monthly shiatsu massages offered in-office.
Cons
December is a very busy, all-hands-on-deck month and it takes time to adjust to not being able to have time off during the holidays. It's an industry standard and NPT actively mitigates busier days with fun engagements and rewards for all employees to ensure all are staying active and engaged all in pursuit of bettering the communities around us.
