Managers are very hands-off so you can enjoy some autonomy. The work can be fun.

Leaders do not perform basic responsibilities. Most behave as individual contributors and do not mentor, train, or coach their reports. Employees are treated as game pieces and moved around carelessly which negatively impacts the quality of work and morale. New hires are barely trained and supervision is lacking because leaders are busy doing design work instead of managing others. A small number of employees continuously shoulder the burden of last-minute work and a chaotic stressful environment. The managers who create and perpetuate this environment do not take responsibility for it, nor do they listen to input on how to improve it. Pay is low and promotions are hard to come by unless you move elsewhere in the company.
