Pros

Gatekeeper has a great culture (read it for yourself on the website). The team is friendly, helpful and fun to work with across the different departments. The management is very accessible and does not treat you like a subordinate. Respect is given, valued and expected. GK offers a flexible approach to your work in terms of how and when you do it. New ideas are always welcome. Perks are pretty sweet too.

Cons

The flip side of a true remote company is the need of personal discipline to not fall into overworking yourself. It's not made for everyone.

I really like my team and our communication. We have high mutual respect, trust, and a good sense of humor. We work on challenging, innovative features that use AI and LLMs. Overtime is always rewarded, and the company offers excellent growth and education opportunities.

Cons

Occasional schedule pressure demands overtime.
