Pros

There’s a genuinely strong culture of driving the business forward, with a real focus on performance. High standards are expected, but people’s efforts are recognised and rewarded accordingly, which creates a motivating environment. The social aspects of the role are actively encouraged, which is refreshing in this type of industry. It helps build a real sense of team and makes it easier to form strong working relationships quickly. The company’s strategic direction is exciting and clearly communicated by the CEO, giving a strong sense of purpose and confidence in the leadership.

Cons

As with any performance-driven environment, the pace can be quick at times, and expectations are consistently high — Ground Control suits people who thrive on challenge and accountability and who want to develop themselves. I have grown a lot over my time here and love it.

A lot of pressure. Heavy workload at all times and pay doesn’t reflect the sheer amount of work and responsibility
