- Embraces hybrid , full remote, or in office work styles - Work / life balance is taken seriously, and taking time for family, and self is encouraged and embraced. - Management goes above and beyond to be transparent about company goals and outlook - Passionate, highly capable team of multi-disciplined engineers - Lots of opportunity to learn, lead, and own features and architecture - Everyone is friendly and happy to answer questions and help if you need it.
Cons
- Not a lot of formal processes and procedures in place, so learning how things are done requires lots of in-person communication. - Almost too much communication. It's a tight-knit team that has a tendency to dog pile onto issues and share lots of information. The amount of communication can be overwhelming at times.
Hidden Level embraces the remote/hybrid work life and has the tools in place to support it. Some employees come to the office regularly, but have the flexibility to WFH as necessary, others are 100% remote. There is something for everyone. Communication between employees is encouraged via regularly scheduled company meetings, lunches and even happy hours. Everyone, up to and including the CEO, is friendly and willing to help. Employees work hard, while also keeping things lighthearted... truly unique!
Cons
Being a newer company, not every process is defined yet. I find this exciting, in that you can help define the way things are done and create your own path. However, if you are someone that needs step by step instruction on task completion, it may not be for you.
