Poor Leadership, Terrible Company Culture, Unattainable Expectations
Pros
Employees are generally nice. The manufacturing plant operators are extremely hard working and willing to help. Plenty of manufacturing experience, and COULD build nearly anything if allowed. Solid pay for the area at the Director level, with decent benefits including 4+ weeks of PTO.
Cons
Where to start.... Leadership has created an extremely toxic environment. Conflict between employees is valued with executive management getting an almost sadistic level of enjoyment from it. HR does not do much to protect the employee and has made comments such as “your job is a vacation from poverty.” and “that’s just EJ.,” when concerns of over aggression from the President, EJ Morrow are brought up. There are unbelievably lofty goals set by management for extreme levels of growth that cannot be hit with current infrastructure in place. The strategies that are set to achieve these growth goals change more rapidly than the clothes you wear. Your work-life balance is not valued, and you are expected to be available throughout PTO if you are allowed to even use it. Negative jokes about PTO are consistently made by upper management and come off very tone deaf. Do not work here if you are used to winning, maintaining respect for yourself and peers, value work-life balance, or expect realistic expectations.
