Management frequently stands around, at length, chatting and laughing, despite what's asked of employees. Most supervisors are only "yes men" for upper management, don't have any ability, or desire, it seems, to stick up for their staff. The dollar means more than the person or their work ethic. Upper management only sees Monday - Thursday day shift, so no other shift is treated to the same standard. Day shift talks to someone for a moment and is busted, weekend shift can wander aimlessly, talk, look at phones, sit around with no word in opposition.
