      Pros

      RAE is a small defense contractor that deals primarily with small business technology transition of military products. Its been a great place to work. The people are friendly and the CEO believes in treating his people well.

      Cons

      Sadly lost some work to the sequestration.

      Cons

      Administration is careless at best and company is not military friendly, despite being a DoD contractor. When I met with the CEO to discuss employment, benefits, etc; he told me they offer differential pay when an employee is on military leave. Three months after working for the company, I put in for military leave and am told by the HR person that military leave is leave without pay. When I address it with HR and the CEO, their response was, "oops, sorry, my HR person wasn't there to correct me. No we don't intend to provide you differential pay."
