The PTO (paid time off) is almost a joke. You have to accrue it, and the HR manager has to approve it instead of your manager/supervisor. The point system and the way it is operated is very. . . . they don't know what they're doing. If you don't have patients or arent the best of your personal best that can compete with the best, do not come to work here. Also, the pay scale is higher than any other job in the area for the type of work, so do not expect to give raises. Raises are not a yearly thing, even with inflation being as high as it is (highest ever) your not going to get a raise. they tell you that when you start. In the policy, it says raises are merit-based, this is just not true. Everyone makes the same amount of money in their job class, no matter their work ethics or skill level. The company went through a time under the government's eye that seems to have caused it to be ultra "diverse", or maybe they just don't want to hire certain demographics? So "diverse" in fact, that in operations, there is one group of people that make up less than 10% of the workforce's population. in the past, there have been a lot of issues with people promoting their friends and family based on just that- being friends and family. I have seen them deny well more-suited potential hires with a more experience than the people they give jobs to. If you are xenophobic, stay away, you won't last. The 1 star that I am giving for diversity is due to this factor.
