Pros

The tenure across the company says a lot. People stay because they enjoy the environment and the work. You also get exposure to high-level roles in life sciences and healthcare, which makes the work feel meaningful and impactful. Leadership is not only approachable across the board but truly thoughtful and supportive. They take the time to listen, value input, and create an environment where people feel trusted and respected. It is clear they care about the team as individuals, not just as employees, which makes a big difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

No cons from me or else I would not still be here after 8 years ! It says a lot when our average tenure is currently 10 years and counting.

Pros

People who work hard and bring their best every day love working at Slone Partners. There is a clear commitment to the employees, a focus on maintaining a positive culture in a virtual environment, the ability to earn a fantastic living from the comfort of your own home, and the opportunity to impact people and patients through our recruiting efforts. It's been a down year due to the economy and its impact on our space; regardless of consistent outreach from other recruiting firms trying to recruit our people due to our industry reputation, people don't want to leave. Slone Partners offers the opportunity to work with industry leaders on exciting searches that make a difference to patients. Last year, the company also made the decision to close during the week between Christmas and New Year's going forward which offered additional PTO to the employees allowing us to truly disconnect and enjoy the holidays. I referred 4 people to the company - all are still here and their tenure ranges from 2.5 years to 13 years. I see that as a clear testament to the opportunities Slone Partners provides.

Cons

The biotech industry has taken a hit. That's just a reality; when that happens, recruiting will take a hit. I appreciate that the company saw this happening and has focused on adjacent areas where our team has deep experience. The layoffs have been heartbreaking for the company as they clearly value each and every person who represents Slone Partners. There is an unwavering commitment to excellence; when people fall short, discussions occur. I don't see that as a con, but I can see how some might. I appreciate the focus on providing an exceptional experience for our clients because that is the commitment we make and we cannot lose sight of the patient who benefits from our clients having the very best employees.
