      Pros

      I'll start by saying Sourcegraph is not a fit for everyone. The people I've seen thrive here are self-starters who enjoy high-agency, scrappy environments and can work through ambiguity. - Truly some of the best people I've ever worked with. - Employees are encouraged to share feedback and run with new ideas and processes with close to no red tape. I love the impact and ownership every person gets. - It is extremely, extremely fast-paced, which I personally love. - Pay is very competitive. - Best benefits I've ever seen.

      Cons

      - Great benefits, but no 401k match. - As I mentioned above, the pace and shifting priorities makes it a place that's not for everyone. You probably won't enjoy the company if you prefer a ton of structure.

      - Everybody has been warm and welcoming and they all seem to enjoy their jobs - The company is building exciting things that they believe in - Little hand-holding or wasted time before getting into the real work; high agency is valued - The candidate and onboarding processes were some of the best I have experienced when joining a new company

      Pros

      - great salary and benefits - great open culture - great career development opportunities - management is organized and united - the product is incredible - merge (company meetups) happening twice per year, makes culture grow - documentation about learning our products is very organized - recurring trainings with always room for Q&A at the end What else? Sourcegraph changed my life. I now have a job that I love.

      Cons

      I do not have any cons, high paced environment but..that’s a given in such a forward thinking company.
