Extremely busy with lots of leads. I gained a ton of experience in a very short time period. Approximately 10 closings in 3-4 months. Due to the high volume, I had already started to build a referral network. It was a great place to work. The only reason I left was I missed working in the educational field (public school teacher). A highly motivated person can definitely make a great living selling for Strait Realty. The real estate industry is evolving and Strait Realty is ahead of the curve.

There aren't any cons to speak of. The real estate industry is going to have to follow the model Strait Realty is setting.
Great opportunities to develop your own personal style and objectives, including market segments to focus on and flexibility in commissions charged. The Straits are highly motivated personally, and honestly want their associates to be successful in their own lives, not just to make $$ for the company.
Cons
Working for a discount/ flat fee broker can sometimes mean more work for less money, but it depends on how you manage your time and clients. Also some "full service" agents are slow to accept a limited service model of doing business and can be resistant to working directly with homeowners.
