Pros

There are many learning opportunities at this job. You will work in an interdisciplinary team that is filled with probation officers, school officials and children and youth case workers. This job has great networking opportunities. Working with the clients is very rewarding, you will be able to make a difference.

Cons

The pay is low, as well as staff morale. CMs and Therapists are over worked and under valued. Management creates a negative environment and does little to show their employees that they are valued. The clients (children and teens) are also undervalued and often talked poorly about during staff meetings. Many of the foster parents at Impact are sub-par and some are even bottom of the barrel.
