      Pros

      Tiger Optics has cutting-edge technologies & innovative products; and thrives with a culture of Lean manufacturing & ISO with focus on continuous improvement, quality and efficiency. The team is fantastic, highly skilled and motivated. The average tenure is > 5 years, and the company has track record for promoting employees through the ranks (myself included). As the company continues to expand, there are many opportunities for employee growth and development.

      Pros

      The company is now under new management and has been growing steadily since the transition. This is a very friendly working environment and team members are always willing to help one another. This is hard to find in similar companies.

      Cons

      The company is now owned by a private equity investment firm. Not sure what the new owner plans to do with the company in 5-10 years.

      Exciting and Challenging place to work. Tiger Optics Management stayed in place after the Acquisition. Nice to have the Monthly meeting and Suggestion box.

      Sharing the building with MEECO.
