Boiler room style sales environment.

Small office with less than 10 people. The building has a bad odor and there is a motel that shares the same parking lot with drug and prostitution activity. The owner comes in late every day, doesn’t say hi, does directly to their office and doesn’t come out all day. Mgt does not take any ideas, suggestions or advice. Mgt is condescending & participates in inappropriate office talk about politics. Expect to work 7 days a week and after hours to accommodate clients on PST. Commission is about $6-$10 on each transport, the transports take time and work so for $10 you end up feeling over worked and under appreciated. The company takes the majority profits of your hard work. Salary is inconsistent others in the same dept was being paid significantly more doing the amount of work. PTO or the lack thereof, when on vacation expect to answer the phone and if you don’t the work will not get done & will be waiting on you with a bunch of issues returning from vacation. No 401k & medical benefits are expensive. No room for growth. Overall if you have other options I highly suggest weighing them out before accepting a job here.
