Pros

It's semi flexible. Can get weekend hours if I would like. Get to meet a lot of new and sometimes nice techs and other employees from other facilities. Also, if you're employed and you or your spouse have a valid doctor's order for imaging, you can get the exam done free of charge.

Cons

Management is chaotic. They will have you bombard patients with calls and texts to confirm appointments to the point that some patients will complain about the volume of notifications they get. if a schedule isn't full enough for them, they will have you call to either move patients up or reschedule them to a different day even if that patient has been rescheduled before and some do get very upset! it's also not fair for the employees because they end up losing hours just because management decides to close an exam room without thinking about that staff member and their livelihood. They never assign someone to make sure all doctors orders and patients documents are in order prior to appointment day and you don't find out till the day off that you're missing an order and can't proceed with the patient's exam. If that happens at night (some locations are open till 9pm) or on the weekend then you're screwed because you have to face the patient and turn them away. That sometimes results in an angry response from said patient but who can blame them. Equipments have been known to break down and stay down for long periods of time. The appointment is a hot mess! scheduling wrong exams with wrong orders is a daily headache.
