Head Compliance Officer salaries in India

Hello, does anyone have experience with the background check process at Amex? I’m feeling anxious and wondering how long it usually takes. My previous title was Credit Risk Analyst Officer, but on my CV and HireRight I shortened it to Credit Risk Officer because the original title was quite long. I’m worried this may be seen as a discrepancy and affect my offer. I completed the HireRight forms on Monday and have already been asked to resign. Any similar experiences or advice?

Parent Company likely getting fully acquired and delisted by its PE majority shareholder. Offer made and I anticipate it’ll close over the coming months given the press releases so far. US legal team is very lean (GC and 2 product counsels) but US is the most profitable globally by far, and I am lead counsel for the main product, as well as as Privacy Officer for the U.S., and lead commercial counsel. 7th year for reference. I plan on riding this out but can anyone share experiences/advice?
