Software Development Automation (DevOps) Engineer

We are seeking our next colleague to help us to automate our software development process and to build our new software development automation tool chain.

Our Product and Us

Our product is a software development automation tool, specifically focusing on infrastructure and services provisioning, also known as IaC or Infrastructure as Code.

The biggest players in our space (our competitors) are Terraform, OpenToFu, Pulumi, Crossplane, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, and Google Cloud Infrastructure Manager.

Our product’s competitive features include

  • Architectural collaboration, allowing application, service, infrastructure, and security architects each to control their separate concerns.
  • Resource sharing, a structured approach to optimizing resource usage across stages and projects.
  • Resource relocation, migrating stateful resources across regional and provider boundaries.
  • Impact and root cause analysis along numerous resource dependencies.
  • Extreme configurability and extensibility.

Our product is basically an orchestration engine, coordinating provisioning of infrastructure and services in a declarative manner. It’s a framework into which our future partners and customers may build plugins (assemblers and adapters). Assemblers are similar to Terraform modules whereas adapters are similar to Terraform providers.

Our product – code named the MACHINE – is still in R&D.

We are jungle.io, a self-funded startup company located in India and Europe.

We build awesome software development tools for other awesome software developers!
