SUMMARY
As a JUNIOR FULLSTACK developer, your mission extends far beyond simply coding. You are an elite member of our technology team. You will work closely with STV’s Product and Operations team and directly report to the Senior Developer.
You must have a great sense of responsibility, be autonomous and able to quickly adapt and adjust to changing priorities. All this while keeping an eye on critical deadlines. You’ll be accomplishing very varied technology related tasks such as:
- Creating programs, algorithms and functions from scratch
- App development in Flutter platform
- Finding solutions to complex issues through structured and creative thinking
- Ready to work on Machine learning and Big data analysis
- Quality assurance and “BUG” fixes as well as bringing enhancements to existing functions
- Brainstorming and creating user interfaces and ergonomic enhancements (UI / UX).
- Producing monthly reports and KPI’S
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- We are looking for a minimum of 2+ years of coding experience working at a technology company as part of their web and or mobile app product or service development team. This individual’s primary focus will be to work with Senor developer and convert the BRD into a robust product that would be later beta tested. We are looking for someone with skills and experience with Flutter, reactive native and someone who can quickly grow into a contributor role.
- Compensation will be based on fitment. We offer paid vacation time, flexible hours, sick/personal days, and a benefits package after a probation period. Our offices are located at Kadavanthara Cochin.
Prerequisites for this role are:
Programming and development:
Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript
Strong knowledge and experience in Hybrid apps - Flutter by Google
Advanced knowledge of Node.js, HTML 5/CSS 3
Knowledge in end-to-end mobile application development (Android/IOS) is preferred
Exposure in IDEs like Xcode, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse
Exposure or working experience with multiple API integration, Push notification & Payment gateway integration
API development experience will be an added advantage
General knowledge in Git hub is a plus!
Work methodology:
- Fast learner and Capacity to solve problems associated with assigned project
- Capacity to work in a continuous delivery environment
- Best coding habits required (Type Hinting, Unit/Functional Tests, Re-Factorization, Comments etc….)
- Result oriented (eyes on deadlines and with higher quality)
Personality:
Ability to make decisions quickly, ability to make priority adjustments and corrections without affecting the quality of your work
Excited by the “start-up mentality” and everything a start-up environment entails (Positives: Autonomy, Creativity, Freedom regarding the creative process, opportunity to influence the direction in which a company grows) but you must also welcome the challenges (Fast work pace, ability to work under pressure, inconsistent work schedules)
Loves teamwork, and people management skills
Excellent sense of task organisation and prioritization (good handle on using time management tools)
Very autonomous (problem solver, great at research and delivery)
Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
Strong communicator – Written and verbal (Strength in English language)
In this role your responsibilities will be:
Development and maintenance of the IT platform (the product)
Complete activities and delivery results in start-up environment
Be versatile throughout our entire development, QA cycle and roles
Documentation and reporting support
Work with our internal and external team to build and maintain IOS and Android applications
Work with our leaders and back-end team to estimate timelines for new features and new applications
Participate in API planning & development for our applications
Coordinate with and assist design team in UX and product development
Investigate and fix bugs
