Senior Java FullStack Developer (React)

Are you motivated to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions for our Digital Platform? Are you a master of Java, React.js, Typescript development, and have experience with Azure Cloud? We're looking for experienced professionals responsible for delivering high-quality applications for our Business, including:
- Proficiency in Java backend development (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, etc.).
- Proficiency in React.js, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in the Azure Cloud platform, especially on Web Apps, Azure Monitoring & Terraform.
- Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL.
- Experience in build tools (e.g., Webpack/Vite) and unit testing framework (e.g., Jest/Testing Library)
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD, automated testing and other DevOps practices
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
- Drive technical specification and the component design
- Take pride in the quality of delivered software products and services (this is what drives you)
- Previous work in the financial services or banking industry is considered an asset.
- Working directly with the Product Manager and dev team to understand the workflow and needs
- Solving real-world issues such as data access, team dependencies, DevOps, tricky ingestion jobs, getting a sense of data and building complex data/workflows
Responsibilities
A Full Stack Software Engineer who will build and maintain application for multiple digital products and technology services in the Azure cloud ecosystem for the Sales Transformation team.
Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
Apply a broad range of software engineering techniques, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment, CI/CD and other DevOps practices
Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others
Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities
Skills
Must have
Proficiency in Java backend development (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, etc.), at least 9 years
Strong proficiency in React.js, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, at least 6 years of experience
Experience in the Azure Cloud platform, especially on Web Apps, Azure Monitoring & Terraform.
Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL.
Experience in build tools (e.g. Webpack/Vite) and unit testing framework (e.g. Jest/Testing Library)
Hands-on experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and other DevOps practices
Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
Nice to have
Previous work in the financial services or banking industry is considered an asset.
