What is the salary like at 1-800Accountant?

Excellent support during training and the nesting period. They genuinely want to see you succeed and are willing to do whatever they can to help you grow. Has shown genuine care for my success and well-being. Great opportunity to make great money and turn a 9-5 into something that will be a well paying career. What you put into growing and learning you will get back. If you put the effort forward and take in everything they teach you(and there is no limitation for learning material) you WILL be successful! They legitimately offer a service that small businesses need and it feels great getting people signed up for something people genuinely need and will benefit from.

Can't work overtime in the nesting period. Has many opportunities to better yourself and make great money. The only con i can think of is that insurance benefits aren't that great.

It's a job, but it's not a good company to work for.

Pay is not that great when you consider they take advantage of you during tax season and the extra hours you have to put in. There review of your calls is super critical and often the reviewers are wrong.

•to many steps or process that achieve the same thing. •to many systems in place that achieve the same thing •there is back to back calls with minimal break time. The training for the position was not well put together. You go through the university training but are expected for everything to stick once put on the call floor

making hundreds of calls per day to "prospect" for appointments to make sales. Hourly rate is decent, but takes a while to get good at sales.

Good pay Work from home set-up

Laid us off right then and there, and did not provide a notice about it, even though it should have been part of company protocol. Took them just a couple minutes to delete all of our accounts, but also took them a very long time to give us our certificate of employment. They also laid us off in a very bad timing, as it is not a good time to look for open jobs (not much opportunities open during this month).

Good training, atmosphere and decent pay.

Slow, outdated equipment makes the job slower/ harder to do.
