Pros
they pay you while you train for 3 weeks, not even enough to cover bills
Cons
if you do not drive outside of your 20 mile radius, you do not get paid for mileage. so you can spend your entire week in your car and use a tank of gas and only get reimbursed $12, but drive 150 miles and spend 15 hours driving. it's 100% commission, and everyone expects a discount. the company makes you feel like you can be a HERO and get the sale while offering up to a 40% discount.. but when you discount YOU ARE GIVING AWAY YOUR COMMISSION. every % discounted is your $$$ commission--- not the company's money. You drive around and meet with people, spend 2-3 hours in the home and get paid nothing if you do not close the sale. inside sales starts emailing immediately after your appointment- they have the easy job, all they do is sit and follow up on your hard work- the company has you running ragged so you don't have time to follow up on "lost opportunities". no time to pee, eat, or drink water while on the road. my district manager told me it's a real "road warrior" job. but in reality, it's a rat race. the company robs you of your time, gas, and mental health. but your managers drive luxury cars, wear luxury clothing and offer "support" but its all for show. this is the worst place to work--- terrible.
