We have worked hard over the years to ensure our compensation plan is highly motivating to our sales team. Having said that, we realize that a fully commissioned role, can present some challenges, no matter what the potential upside is. Our uncapped compensation plan is designed to give our Design Consultants the ability to discount within a certain range, without it impacting their commission. This approach offers flexibility to our sales team to close the sale by offering a higher discount, while also ensuring we avoid over-discounting.

Ah the snack bar – yes, I’m partial to the peanut butter pretzels myself 😊. Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge some of the other perks as well, like the great people we work alongside who exemplify our core value of One Team. And, of course, the flexibility of the work-from-home or hybrid nature of most of our roles is a real advantage – and hopefully offsets the busy periods we sometimes face in our respective roles!

A definite benefit to those in the Design Consultant role is the decentralized work environment and scheduling flexibilities – they are always high on our team’s list! We utilize our generous marketing spend to generate high quality leads for all of our markets, but in newer markets like New Orleans, it does take time to build name recognition and market penetration. Although our goal is to fill our Design Consultant’s calendar with company generated appointments, we encourage our DCs to drive self-generated leads to help fill their calendar. Our compensation plan generously rewards them for doing so, and it helps get our name into the community on a grass roots level.
