- I got hired during a mass hiring. My friends and I applied and got the acceptance letters together. If you're working the same job with friends it can be fun and a shift goes by pretty fast.
- Part time shifts are 6 hours and you get a 15 minute break that is paid and an unpaid 30 minute break. Which I personally think is much better than what most organizations provide to part timers like myself. If you do intend to apply for a full time job its an 8 hour shift with two unpaid 30 minute breaks.
Cons
- This is completely location based but most Costco members at my location are fairly nice and are respectful there are times though when some members come by and are openly disrespectful and in such as situation all one can do is stay there and not talk back.
- Standing for 6 hours can be very taxing on your legs especially if you have issues in your legs like I do.
- There might be times that you have to sample stuff you do not eat/like or can't have based on your religion. In such cases you could ask to swap your sample with someone else's but if not which is true in most cases it can be very hard.
