Initiatives can be slow to gain traction, somewhat siloed organization. Not always straightforward guidance from leadership.

Good nursing management for the most part, nice people, decent pay and benefits, self scheduling, pto is approved consistently.

In the local and national news for a monumental failure. Every week management gives us another audit assignment with another paper to fill out. Nothing is done / changed with the mounds of internal audit information we collect. Very strict standards for nurses and staff with little standards for the physicians who give substandard care or don’t follow our own sop.

My experience working with Dignity Health CommonSpirit was very positive. They have great benefits, good pay, and excellent staff.

The pay is competitive compared to other systems, the coworkers are great.

Easy to feel just like a number within the system. If you are an experienced nurse coming into a unit that is young they will pile responsibilities onto you with minimal orientation to the unit. By two months I was charging, by four months I was precepting students (and charging at the same time). And you will come to hate the word productivity.

Good pay for expectation, excellent food with a discount, people were nice and understanding

Seeing people in pain is generally a daily thing if your moving around the building.
