What is the hiring process like at Cox Enterprises?

Atmosphere is beautiful. They have lots of celebrations and covered parking.

As a tech novice, I soon discovered most of the work I was required to do was met with the expectation of someone with 3 to 5 years of experience. The training was hard to come by because everyone is overworked tapped with Very little bandwidth to help a new hire. They are very old-fashioned and have at too many daily meetings. Most of which you really don’t need to be a part of. It seems like they just wanted to occupy your calendar With something. Not to mention that they are no longer fully remote. There will be at least one day in the office which is in Sandy Springs. Lots of traffic and congestion. Made this very undesirable role.

Actually, a gift and a curse: Most employees have been with the company for a while, and they are fluent in the language and personnel. It can be difficult transitioning because people sometimes speak with you as if you have the same experience level and knowledge of personnel; even when you are a new hire.

The company has a smooth, thoughtful and thorough onboarding process. Employees are fully engaged which demonstrates the strong culture and full support of the company itself. Everyone has been welcoming and supportive. I've never seen a place where so many employees are genuinely happy to be at work!

It's a bit overwhelming at first as the organization is so large, but they do a great job at onboarding employees so feeling 'settled in' comes rather quickly.
