Pros
The restaurants near the office.
Cons
The interview process was not accurately explained and did not reflect the reality of the role. Management created an environment where you were consistently made to feel inadequate or less than. Basically you are a name and number. After the first week, support effectively disappeared, and management often created narratives claiming support ‘had been given,’ during your time with the company, overall it made it difficult to ask for further help. You were asked to give your opinion, but management routinely shut down your perspective, creating the sense that the request for input was merely an opportunity to reinforce their own ego. Even when hard‑earned results started coming through, management would gaslight you into believing it wasn’t enough or that you should be doing more, which severely impacted morale. The commission structure is poorly defined and significantly undervalues the amount of work required. As it stands, it fails to offer a fair or motivating return for the level of effort expected. The London office stunk of stale cigarette smoke, especially near the toilets. This is not a healthy environment, and anyone who cares about their mental health/wellbeing should think very carefully before taking a role here as you will become a shadow of your former self. There should be a zero star rating option, because even one star suggests a level of merit that simply isn’t there. A stain on my CV. Go and build your career away from EML Payments.
