      Pros

Depending on location you work with decent managers

      Cons

Poor bonus program, poor retention, low pay, low quality of life, small raises. Considering they are constantly changing the way you bonus really makes the whole job defeating. The clientele is rough and the amount of abuse we deal with on a regular basis doesn’t make it worth while. We offer low wages to our employees which makes finding good candidates challenging. Supplier issues that are almost weekly as well as having to travel all over to get products from other locations means spending more time working rather than being able to enjoy your free time. The maintenance on most of the locations is done internally to save money so unless something is seriously wrong things get pushed to the side a lot. They constantly say that they honor their “core values" meanwhile they are constantly breathing down the necks of the management team to keep producing low labor and high guest surveys. OT is inevitable at most locations and working the line while trying to run the rest of the location solo is the norm. For the low pay it isn’t worth the stress anymore.

      Pros

Being a Flynn employee has been genuinely rewarding and a breath of fresh air. Not only is my direct leader super supportive, approachable, and transparent in her communication, but so is ALL Leadership at Flynn. Growth opportunities, training, and career development are not only encouraged but celebrated. The culture is one of a kind. Flynn employees are collaborative and inclusive; There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and wins are celebrated together. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, but we work hard. Benefits and pay are competitive, but there are so many other perks of working at Flynn. Flynn perks offer discounts with what seems to be an endless number of partners, so you are able to save money on everyday things like your cell phone bill to leisure activities like traveling. We have a 4:1 model as it relates to being in office/WFH. This just adds to the already great work/life balance.

      Cons

Like any growing organization, things can move quickly, shifting priorities. Leadership is open to feedback and very responsive to change, though.

      Pros

The culture is great. I feel like they put family first and are very flexible with your schedule. I originally took this job because of the onsite daycare and flexible hybrid schedule (although the company is not affiliated with the daycare its just in the same building). I have stayed because I really enjoy the people I work with. They are a fun group of people and genuinely care about you as a person. They have a nice kitchen, free beverages, provide lunch once a month and beer Fridays. Also, management has been accommodating and flexible when it comes to kids being sick or needing to work from home on snow days.

      Cons

The benefits are not that great. The health insurance is expensive, and the pay is on the lower end. Also, when I started the work from home schedule was 2 days at home 3 in office, but that will be changing to 4 in office and Fridays at home in July.

      Pros

Very simple, easy to understand, great job for high schoolers, very flexible with time off requests and finding a good schedule for you.

      Cons

It can get stressful, and with a low rate of pay it may feel like its not very worth it, especially with absolutely no benefits.
