Pros
The flexibility and compensation are great. I've also been in a position where I've learned a lot, and really talented, intelligent people surround me. There are growth opportunities, and my leadership does a great job of recognizing team member contributions.
Cons
I'm honestly really disappointed in my experience with Frost so far. I came initially with an impression of belonging and that leadership would back up my projects and decision-making. So far, I haven't experienced that. Most days, I feel very isolated and am not included in many meetings with the rest of my team. My supervisor is stretched so thin I rarely get quality one-on-one time. When I do, most of the conversation is about what I need to do better or continuous criticism of my projects so far. I don't get positive reinforcement, which is critical for my overall well-being and motivation to keep innovating with new ideas for the organization. I had such high hopes for Frost, given its reputation, but my experience has fallen significantly short of that perception.
