What is the salary like at Giant Eagle?

Work from home a few days a week or available all the time for some roles, fair salary, good people, good company culture and values, diverse, emphasis on community

Seems like high turnover lately. Office isn't in Pittsburgh anymore...now an hour or so north. Many layoffs in recent months makes it hard to feel job security. Sometimes it feels the company prioritizes short-term profit over customer retention and that can be discouraging. Projects sometimes not given adequate space to thrive.

Good work life balance, liked my coworkers and good pay

Company was in the midst of a transition so we couldn't get as much done because of changing leadership.

There was next to nothing good about my experience. I guess that Giant Eagle is LGBT friendly as a company which is good.

Oh gosh. Okay so the favoritism is unreal. The pay is appalling, even though I know they’re apparently trying to raise starting wages. It’s still not enough. Any company that has full time employees on foodstamps does not deserve to be in business. Management does nothing about creepy or hateful customers.

Amazing benefits, great pay, solid structure for advancement.

Staffing can be an issue. Workload in market district stores is way over the skill level of team members they hire for. They need more chefs for the market district stores.
