What is the salary like at Heartland Dental?

Comparing each others production against co workers/focus too much on production

30 hours equals full benefits, Regular raises, Good pay, regular bonuses and great opportunities. Excellent office manager, dentists, staff. I drive an hour to work for this office and it is 100% worth it.

Just the fact that it's corporate causes a lot of Hygienists to pass on these jobs. Affiliated practices are different than the startup offices

employees can have different experiences because each office is ran by the doctors mainly. Can be pushy with treatment depending on the doctor/OM. Sometimes it can be stressful with scheduling because of PSR.

The company had great pay and benefits with opportunity for growth.

There is not a lot of transparency with management and at one point my manager was committing time card fraud with the employees (she has since left). They also have high turn around with patients and staff.

Benefits free dental for you and immediate family.

Will not get a good raise and has a top salary that is not comparable with other office does not consider DA’s as an important part of the company. Will not recommend.

When I first started here it was very much a family environment and the management wanted you to succeed. Senior leadership actually practiced the core values they preach regularly. That has all changed.

Horrible benefits, 2 weeks of PTO (including sick time), low pay and high promises by leadership with low return. Minimal pay increases as well. You are doing 2-3 jobs and leadership will not hire new people until doctors complain things are not getting done. The whole culture evolved into a point the finger and accusatory scenario on the regular. Management will make promises of promotions and nothing will happen. Especially if you do not know the right people and if you are a female. On top of that, you are forced to use Heartland dental dentists who constantly try to sell you a product and they do not cover specialty services. So be prepared to have additional dental insurance.

If you work with a not so great dentist then it is not fun. Dentists don’t stick around heartland for long.

Bonus daily and monthly, hours are nice, pay is good, good benefits

Managers can be annoying, higher turnover rates, only 6 paid holidays, only 2 weeks pto and after you’ve worked a year

great pay and benefits, company provides a lot of training courses and invests in their employees

somewhat of a high turnover rate in management

Job security especially after Covid. The company worked hard to retain and pay everyone

The raises are very basic and for non provider positions the salary doesn’t meet todays financial crisis
