How is management perceived at Hello Molly?

toxic director and management, like to sack people in probation, ZERO work life balance, expected to be on call 24/7, culture of fear and blame, lazy managers who just do directors dirty work (but don't tell you what they want), no processes or direction for staff, no salary reviews

Hello Molly has put in a new management team in the last 6 months who support their teams. It's a high-performance culture which I love, with good work-life balance and good people.

The performance culture isn't for everyone, but there's always open & transparent communication & you're supported by management & the wider team to achieve your goals.

The general staff, HR and some management are lovely people

Overall gaslighting, constant changes in scope based on what the CEO feels like for the day, perpetual chaos in terms of any sense of security. High turnover and redundancies with no awareness of the business growth and intentions. Team members were promised flexible working after probation then had to fight for 1x WFH day a week. Felt like a constant bout of secrecy within upper management, and their support felt more like hunting for faults or your opinion (not in a good way). You’d have one conversation with the CEO and end up having 3 other managers calling you to discuss one sentence that the CEO wasn’t happy with. Never-ending. This business makes you feel like you’re worse at your job than when you came into it. Bizarre experience, 10/10 do not recommend.

Growth opportunities, good management, great incentives, good work life balance.

Hybrid opportunities are limited, no parking

I worked at Hello Molly for about 9 months and feel like I learnt a lot in that time. The expectations of the managers are really high sometimes but I look back now and am pretty impressed with what I was able to achieve in that time. It's more than I would have expected of myself when I first started. (This was my second job.)

Management and the Director are a nightmare. The new Management Team were hired to “protect the staff,” the only person they’re there to protect is the Director and if they don’t they’re fired. Toxic culture, toxic management, toxic working environment, don’t bother with this company, it’s a waste of time.
