How are senior leaders perceived at Kaseya?

      Kaseya reviews

      Honest Review

      Senior account manager
      Current employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

-Average compensation package -New CEO taking the right approach in fixing operational issues

      Cons

Kaseya has significant internal challenges that hinder both employee performance and satisfaction. The organization is extremely siloed, and there's often a lack of communication between departments. As a Senior Account Manager, you're expected to focus on sales, but in reality, much of your time is consumed with administrative work like handling billing issues, chasing collections, and resolving support tickets — tasks that should be handled by dedicated teams. The company culture is very much a "boys' club," where career progression seems to depend more on socializing with upper management than on actual performance. Those who participate in after-hours drinking and networking with leadership tend to receive better territories, promotions, and recognition - regardless of merit. The lack of meaningful employee benefits is disappointing, especially for a company that enforces a strict five-day in-office policy. There's little regard for work-life balance or employee wellbeing. If you're considering a role on the GTM team at Kaseya, especially in sales, think carefully. The operational disarray, politics, and lack of support can make it a frustrating experience.

Much better companies in the space

      Pros

Compensation can be favorable if your lucky with the book of business

      Cons

Pure luck for the book of business you recieve, setup for failure if not. Layoffs every 1-2 years, unless hitting 150% of quota which is tied to your book there's little guarantee of job security. Promotes a win together culture but when you lose you lose alone. Training is extremely sub standard, very much a throw you in the deep end and good luck type of company. 100% in office culture, major trust issues with senior management and front line staff.

3 yr Account Management employment experience at Kaseya

      Sr account manager
      Former employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

The pay is quite good for entry-level sales job. I think I performed average and I made around $100k per year including commissions. There are opportunities to grow in the company, however, it requires heavy networking and some level of favoritism with senior management in order to achieve this.

      Cons

Micro management culture, unprofessional peers and quite toxic environment.

      Pros

Throughout my tenure at the company, I have appreciated the opportunity for professional growth and development. The environment here fosters innovation and teamwork, encouraging employees to take on challenging projects and contribute significantly to our collective goals. This supportive atmosphere is instrumental in driving our team's success and remains one of the key reasons I value being part of this organization. The company values professional growth and recognizes hard work. The leadership is committed to rewarding and fostering a culture of collaboration, where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and contribute to our collective success. It’s a place where one can truly make an impact and see their contributions reflected in the company's achievements and are genuinely appreciated. I believe that by valuing the talents of its workforce, the company is well-positioned to achieve its future goals. Looking ahead, I am excited about what the future holds and am committed to contributing to our shared success.

      Cons

While going through mergers and acquisitions can present many challenges, enhanced communication and transparency from leadership could help benefit the workplace, fostering a stronger sense of unity and purpose among the team.

      Pros

The opportunity to collaborate directly with senior leadership and product management teams while conducting onboarding sessions with our partners is highly valued. The organization's extensive size ensures that there are ample opportunities for professional growth and development. With the comprehensive training and support provided, it serves as an ideal platform to launch and accelerate one's professional career.

      Cons

The demand can be significant. You will need to demonstrate resilience to sustain the necessary pace, especially when we introduce new product updates and enhancements. As we are delivering sessions in most cases, we tend to miss out.

Everything to do with the India centre leadership. The job is fine but the leadership is the worst part of it, too much politics. Unreal goals. At one point they almost told us everyday to write 5 star reviews on glass door.
