What is the hiring process like at SaaS Labs?

One of the Best Interview Experience

      Senior software(devops) engineer

      Pros

The interview process was one of the best I've experienced—completely hands-on and closely aligned with real-world, production-like scenarios for infrastructure setup. The interviewers were friendly and engaging throughout the rounds. HR was very supportive and transparent during the entire hiring journey, making the process smooth and comfortable.

      Cons

NA regarding the interview and onboarding

You are sold the Job really well and onboarding is smooth too. If you like to fix problems there is no end to them If you like to take advantage of a company by not working effectively, speak good english and party with HR & Founder - you will be safe

      Cons

Every 3 months they disrupt by firing a senior leader A new leader comes in and hire 20 people and himself get fired for working their *** off Zero Governance , just random appreciations and awards Heaven for ones who know how to be in the good books of leaders Easily 50% turnover yearly, yet silence on cultural questions and people are fired for raising voice

      Had a great interview experience!

      Customer success manager (csm)
      Current employee

      Pros

Saas labs has a very smooth and well-organized interview process. From the initial stages through to the final rounds, the coordination between me and their team was impeccable. Every step was clearly communicated, and I felt well-prepared and supported throughout. I also appreciate how the team made sure that my skills and experience were appropriately understood and validated, which speaks volumes about the company's commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent. Great place to be!

      Cons

To be honest, I didn't not see any cons here.

High expectations, no support, and a toxic culture

      Pros

I joined SaaS Labs excited about the mission and potential to make an impact. Unfortunately, the reality was far different from what was pitched during the interview process. The company sets lofty goals, assigns ambitious projects—and then fails to provide the resources, collaboration, or internal support needed to complete them and then blame you.    •   You’ll learn how to build things from scratch—because you’ll have to.    •   Some smart, motivated individuals doing their best in a tough environment but will be fired as they are not respected for their knowledge or experience. If you’re looking for a role with strong leadership, collaboration, and growth, look elsewhere. This place expects a lot, gives little in return, and leaves good people burnt out and gas lit.

      Cons

What stood out:    •   No cross-team alignment Projects are assigned without coordination across departments. You’re told to “own” something, only to find out the teams you depend on are too busy or unwilling to help. When delays or roadblocks occur, you’re still held accountable as if the full team was behind you.    •   Leadership by fear, not trust Senior leadership, especially the founder, operates in a reactive, top-down manner. There’s little room for discussion or pushback. Decisions are made quickly, often without input from those doing the actual work. Feedback is discouraged and often punished.    •   Toxic culture masked by startup energy On the surface, it looks like a fast-growing global startup with hustle and innovation. But internally, it’s disorganized, politically driven, and lacks basic processes. People are let go frequently and without notice—often blamed for systemic problems they didn’t create.    •   Disconnect across time zones The global structure creates communication gaps, and those outside of the core HQ location often feel excluded or undervalued. Efforts made to bridge that gap are typically one-sided. All Goals are set then you are told no one has the bandwidth to implement them.    •   Unrealistic expectations with no internal support    •   Zero accountability from leadership, but full blame on individual contributors    •   No clear ownership or process—just chaos    •   High turnover, especially in roles outside the core office    •   Toxic leadership and poor handling of people Big events but with absolutely no respect to any attendees for start times due to leadership up partying all night with the staff from their area in India. Events are all drinking and dance parties without any cultural adventures to discover the country you are visiting. If you don't drink your out.

      Not worth it

      Pros

Some good people to work with. It could also be good if you want to expand your international experience with managing teams or customers.

      Cons

The leadership dynamics at this company (i.e., company politics), could have greatly benefited from enhanced clarity and stronger teamwork. It often felt like the drive for personal recognition outshone the pursuit of collective success, making collaboration across various teams quite challenging. Achieving set goals or completing assigned projects rarely led to acknowledgment. More often than not, contributions were downplayed, dismissed as inadequate, or attributed to other factors. This tendency to overlook team and individual efforts was demoralizing. A significant focus on "what have you done for me lately?" overshadowed previous accomplishments, rendering yesterday's achievements irrelevant. This was especially frustrating when those efforts were precisely what had been requested and aligned with the roles for which we were hired. This approach was disheartening and resonated throughout the entire team. Communication issues started at the top and complicated effective execution. When directives were unclear or strategic decisions affecting the company were made in isolation—without involving or informing those directly impacted, who presumably were hired to contribute to such decisions—it left many feeling sidelined. These decisions were usually not communicated to the team, resulting in more confusion. For anyone who is considering a leadership role within this company, insist on having every detail, every task, goal, and responsibility, including explicitly the reporting structure within the team written out and signed off on. This will be essential for navigating the company's environment and ensuring that contributions will be recognized and valued.
