Pros
very flexible schedule, easy to trade/pick up shifts, busy locations, seriously very easy work, good coworkers. i say all of my cons with the emphasis that the flexibility and ease of this job is sometimes worth the cons if you know you are not seeking to be a sugared and bronzed employee forever - its easy money, great training/skills to have and learn, and most of your coworkers are enjoyable to be around. you are very independent and it is not very demanding (...most of the time)
Cons
some of the women that work higher up at this company are some of the most miserable, insidious, white women you will ever meet. power will go to their heads and they will make you try and think sugared and bronzed is life or death work, when it is really a very simple job that does not matter. ive been talked to like i had the iq of a child, blamed for things that i did not do, called out on small mistakes that truly do. not. matter. the clients at this company are very easy going (for the most part) albeit privileged and rich. the management will overwork you for more money in their pockets but will not help you if you need it, never give you praise without a correction or backhanded compliment. you are forced into very awkward and uncomfortable situations with clients because the company is sneaky with their policies and will do anything for extra money, meaning you in store have to explain things that you have no control over. the system of scoring employees performance is based on clients whims and random biases/beliefs that are not always based in fact.
