What is working from home like at Tinuiti?

      Pros

      Fully remote work from home

      Cons

Tinuiti really used to be such a great place to work. The people were great (albeit many still are), the benefits were good and the culture really was fresh and employee focused. I really felt lucky to work here. Unfortunately, as all the recent reviews state, this is no longer the case. Times got tough, as they did for many industries post COVID, and the wheels came off. The C suites lack of real world experience became very evident. Instead of bringing in folks who have actual experience outside of Tinuiti, they crowned themselves the smartest people alive and continued running full steam into a brick wall. Note - They did add a President in early 2023 who actually has many years of experience navigating agencies through change and hard times. However, hanging all hopes on 1 person proved to be a losing bet. The recent restructuring lead by said President was a disaster. Additionally, our CPO ran the once great culture into the ground and replaced it with a toxic mix of fear and instability. It's now a "cover your butt" culture where no one trusts each other and throwing people under any bus to save yourself is the standard. There is no transparency whatsoever. It's truly sad to see how things have ended up for Tinuiti, and the leadership only has themselves to blame.

Work from home and PTO policy is it but pay continues to decline

      Cons

This company used to be great and put their employees first but since they changed their structure in 2024, it’s been a disaster. They lowered almost everyone’s pay and it continues to drop. There’s no incentive to grow clients business like there used to be with commission. The C-suite and that twerp Jeremy lied to everyone stating our pay wouldn’t be affected in the restructure but some people saw 20-40% pay cuts and eventually left.

      Cons

The exec team has shown time and time again that they do not listen to feedback. We switched to a terrible health insurance provider last year and after more than half the company complained about it, nothing has been done. They also laid off a lot of workers, cut huge portions off our commissions, and are pushing out a lot of the people who made Tinuiti great 10+ years ago

      Pros

I have been a huge fan on Tinuiti since beginning work here - fun community, great benefits of remote work, fertility benefits, unlimited PTO, lifestyle spending accounts, etc. It has been some of the most rewarding work I've done in the industry and has helped me grow my career and I've luckily been able to take advantage of multiple mentorship programs and have held great managers that support and uplift me and have always been in my corner. The lower level employees who work here are truly top notch.

      Cons

Sadly it's started to go down hill pretty quickly. The large name accounts are not being charged large name dollars leading to extreme understaffing for some of the most challenging and needy clients leading to burnout, neglect and fatigue. Despite this concern being raised, nothing has been done to add more staff to larger accounts because Tinuiti will charge them low fees to have the name in our portfolio. OOO used to be a true OOO period, now they track it into long weekends that we already have off and are more expensive to travel during and also don't even give us the full week anymore. We started getting taxed on our lifestyle benefits recently which is ridiculous and the health care is actually abysmal. Multiple employees have complained about this new healthcare since getting it last year and we've constantly been told it's better for us when it's clearly not. It's becoming clear that execs are falling under pressure from private equity owners to save costs and the company is suffering because of it and the employees are bleeding out.

Remote work, good PTO, large accounts

      Cons

Lack of transparency. Leadership misses deadlines but there's no flexibility with employee deadlines. Half day Fridays don't exist. The OOO program is not 3 weeks, it's 3 days each week (for some reason they count the weekends). Current employees are expected to learn new jobs to cover for the amount of emplyees who have left. Every conversation with my manager I have to create an email paper trail so that I have a leg to stand on. Tinuiti went from being a people-centric to C-suite centric in a few months.
