What are pay raises like at Twenix?

      Twenix reviews

Good company for earning additional income

      Business outlook

      Pros

The interview and the onboarding process are automated, and everything can be completed quickly and smoothly. The platform is very intuitive, and the students are great. You can work as much or as little as you want. As long as there are other teachers available (there usually are), you can transfer as many classes as you want, no questions asked, no penalties. You manage your own schedule; there is no stress or micromanagement.

      Cons

The pay is relatively low, so it won't be enough as a main source of income. You can get a pay increase after some time, but it's not a lot, and you have to do a lot of classes to make it to the next level. Booking rates can be unstable, especially during major religious holidays in Spain. Very few students book classes during January and February.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you found our interview and onboarding process streamlined and efficient. It's fantastic that you appreciate the user-friendly platform and enjoy working with our students. We'd also like to thank you for your feedback on the transfer system and flexibility in scheduling. We understand your concern about the pay, and while we strive to offer competitive compensation, we recognize that it may not suffice as a primary income source for everyone. We're continuously evaluating ways to provide fair and rewarding opportunities for our teachers to progress financially. We're also aware of the fluctuations in booking rates during certain times of year, and we transparently communicate this to all active Tweachers to ensure more stability and consistency for you all. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're dedicated to enhancing your experience. If you have any further suggestions or questions, please feel free to reach out to us at teachers@twenix.es. Very flexible and the students are very nice.

      Cons

The pay incentives are very low and it would take years before you get to 5 euros per 26 minutes.

      LOW PAY IN 2024!

      Business outlook

      Pros

      Great students and remote work.

      Cons

As a former employee of Twenix, I find it disheartening that they only pay 8 euros per hour in 2024. Such a rate not only falls short of adequately compensating teachers for their valuable time and expertise but also fails to consider the cost of living in various regions. It's concerning to observe that they seem to prioritize recruiting teachers from third-world countries solely due to lower payment expectations. Investing in teachers is essential for the success and sustainability of any educational platform. Competitors in Spain are demonstrating this by offering significantly higher pay for the same work. It's unjustifiable that Twenix would offer mere cents as a raise in 2024 – such a gesture comes across as insulting rather than appreciative. Moreover, the fact that teachers have to teach over 8000 classes to earn a raise of just 1 euro is unacceptable. This demonstrates a severe lack of appreciation for the dedication and effort put in by educators. Additionally, the company's expenditure on unnecessary design elements while neglecting essential updates and failing to properly value their teachers is troubling. True progress lies in recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of educators, rather than focusing on superficial enhancements. Twenix must reassess its priorities, adjust payment to reflect the worth of teachers, and prioritize investments that truly benefit both educators and learners alike.
