      Pros

Great colleagues and good opportunities for progression

      Cons

Technology needs transformation, salaries could be better

Not a place to grow your career and not rewarding for committment

      Pros

Colleagues on the team made work enjoyable for the most part. App was fun to work on. Subsidised canteen. Health insurance. Decent pension scheme 5% personal; 10% matched.

      Cons

No career growth - heavy push back from head of software when trying to get to the next level. Not wanting to open a new role for a more senior position. Laziness from upper management. Limited benefits - most companies offer more for their employees. Way below average compensation compared to market average. ~25-30% lower than average. Yearly bonus strategy is a mess where your manager has to fight for 1-2 available 10% bonuses whereas the rest of the team get mid 5%. It didn't matter how hard you worked or how much time you put in. TDLR; you are punished for committing years to this company. You can easily obtain 50-100% more compensation simply by looking elsewhere.

      Pros

Working at Vhi offers a genuinely balanced and sustainable professional environment, It has incredible work–life balance with meaningful, purpose-driven impact. The culture is supportive where collaboration is valued over internal competition and leaders are generally accessible and pragmatic. I worked with some of the nicest people here where you felt comfortable to challenge them. There is salary progression and good benefits. The overall benefits package is great, good pension contributions, solid annual leave, healthcare, supports flexibility and personal commitments for good work life balance. Management are very approachable and its a job I genuinely loved.

      Cons

Career growth can be a bit slower than what some might hope for.
