Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is DI and how can I use it in order to improve my services.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 10bis
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter after applying for another role and sent me a home assginment in SQL.
When you first sent me the test on December 9th, I completed it a day later on December 10th, and received feedback that my results were correct.
Then, I hadn't heard back from the recruiter for weeks, despite emailing her two weeks later.
On Jan 4th she contacted me out of the blue stating that I had never completed the test.
So retake the test and received feedback that my results were correct again.
Once again, no response from her.
After 6 weeks into the process, I got a response from the recruiter that my assignment results weren't high enough for their standard qualification , which completely do not adhere to the results on my test.
A negative response to my application is completely fine, but must be done in a way that is respectful to the candidate.
A friend of my also took the test in mid December, and got his tet result within 3 days.
She could't take responsibility for being highly unproffessioanl and disappearing rather than telling me that my test score wasn't good enough (as I got a feedback on the test platform that my answers were correct)
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 10bis (Tel Aviv-Yafo)
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter working directly for the company.
* I had a short phone session with the recruiter.
* Later a video session with 2 team / group leaders.
They were not clear on what they wanted for the role.
After the video session they gave no response and after a while (2-3 weeks) I said that unless I receive a response within a day I will withdraw from the process, as I prefer to keep ongoing processes to a minimum.
They got back a day later and said I was rejected. No explanation. No feedback.
When I asked to inspect my personal data, with regards to the interview process I learned they use some candidate application software. They sent back a screenshot showing virtually nothing but the basic details. The phone interview and video session were basically blanks. Knowing Israeli companies I rather doubt that nothing was actually written.
It took them about 3 weeks to send that screenshot. Which is an unusually long period of time to take a simple screenshot. Most people I know of can perform that task in a matter of minutes.
I suspect there was some information which they deleted / kept hidden. Another explanation is they just waited for 2-3 weeks or so before telling me I was rejected, for no apparent reason.
I would suggest other candidates to stay away from such companies. They obviously have no respect for candidate's time and effort.
