I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at 1Connect Consulting (Atlanta, GA) in May 2025
Interview
The interviewing process was good. I had a passionate and kind interviewer. However, they didn't really explain what the job was going to be until I got there. It didn't have to do with events at all so that was suspicious. I got offered the position but declined because I didn't want to directly sell to people. The hiring manager explained that they go out everyday and stand in front of places hoping to get sales.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at 1Connect Consulting (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2023
Interview
I applied for event assistant. Then got a call and was scheduled for a zoom interview. The Zoom interview was with 8 other candidates and took 15 minutes. We each had to answer the question what we're looking for in a new position. Final interview was the weirdest interview I had so far. Suddenly the job wasn't event assistant anymore, but something where you had to be outside and convince people to donate. And within a few months you would be manager as well. And a few months later you could start your own branch. Felt all really MLM. I politely listened. At the end the interviewer started talking about his stocks and I shared my experience since I've got some academic training in that. The firm called me back in the afternoon. I didn't bother to pick up or call back.
